Indian sweet meatballs: chickpea flour balls, coated in a sugar syrup, and then rolled in grapes and cardamom.
Ladoo is an Indian confectionery made from chickpea flour. The French fry-shaped sweets are dipped in syrup and then shaped into fragrant balls.

Directions
- Mix the besan with the salt, turmeric, and a little water until you have a paste with the consistency of dosa batter. ≈ 10 min
- Prepare a syrup using sugar and a little water, then set aside. Heat the oil paint in a thick-bottomed pot.
- Pour each batch, slowly pour the batter over the oil paint using a skimmer. Once the pearls turn a light golden color, remove them and immediately immerse them in the sugar syrup. ≈ 3 min
- After 15 minutes, drain them and place them in a dish.
- Add the ghee, grapes, and ground cardamom, then form small balls with your hands. ≈ 10 min
