Directions
- Add all the ingredients, except the chicken, to a non-metallic bowl and mix well. ≈ 4 min
- Add the chicken and mix until it is completely coated. ≈ 4 min
- Ideally, the chicken should now be placed in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 24 hours.
- It may not be safe to leave a frozen chicken for more than 24 hours, but fresh chicken should be marinated for 48 hours to achieve the best results.
- If you don’t want to marinate the chicken, simply proceed to the next step.
- The chicken now needs to be cooked. ≈ 3 min
- To achieve the best results, place it on skewers and cook it in a tandoor oven or a ceramic oven.
- The chicken can also be cooked on skewers over a barbecue for 5 to 8 minutes on each side, or in the oven (cooking times will vary depending on the temperature of the barbecue).
