Directions
- Crush the cookies finely and mix them with the melted butter. ≈ 4 min
- Spread evenly over the bottom of a lightly oiled 20x20 pan. ≈ 3 min
- Refrigerate so the base firms up. ≈ 3 min
- Put the condensed milk, sugar, honey and butter in a saucepan. ≈ 3 min
- Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until you get the characteristic brown caramel color (15–20 minutes).
- Take the pan out of the refrigerator and pour the caramel cream over it.
- Refrigerate again. ≈ 3 min
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler (or in the microwave), stirring frequently.
- Pour the chocolate over the surface of the fudge and let it sit for a few minutes so it sets slightly.
- Decorate the surface with pistachio paste drops if you like, or let it harden in the refrigerator.
- Remove the fudge from the pan and cut it into cubes. ≈ 3 min
