- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, walnuts, and sugar. ≈ 4 min

- In a medium-sized bowl, thoroughly mix the eggs, oil paint, sugar, water, and rose extract until you achieve a smooth consistency. ≈ 4 min
- We slowly add the liquids to the dry mixture, ensuring that the liquid is incorporated during the mixing process. ≈ 3 min
- We greased the mold and the sides with shortening, then covered the baking paper with shortening to allow the dough to rise and expand during baking. ≈ 3 min
- We pour the dough into the mold, level the surface, cut the dough into pieces of the desired size, and place half a walnut in the center of each piece. ≈ 3 min
- We cooked it at a temperature of 170/180 degrees Celsius for approximately 40 minutes.
- It is advisable to check the doneness of the food during cooking, as each oven may behave differently.
- Syrup preparation: In a small saucepan, pour 300 ml of water, 200 g of sugar, and 3 tablespoons of lemon juice. ≈ 3 min
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, allowing it to thicken.
- Add the coconut extract and remove from the heat. ≈ 3 min
- After baking, the cake is removed from the oven and the warm syrup is poured over the still-warm cake.
- We let it cool and then serve it with pleasure.
