Directions
- Whisk together the egg whites, egg yolks, and sugar. ≈ 4 min
- The mixture should be foamy, but not too stiff. ≈ 3 min
- Optional: Add a flavoring (see instructions). ≈ 3 min
- Add the sifted flour and baking powder. ≈ 3 min
- Mix everything together and add the melted butter. ≈ 4 min
- (Optional: Allow to chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.)
- Grease and flour the molds. ≈ 4 min
- Once the refrigerator is open, fill the molds about three-quarters full using a tablespoon, or even better, a small measuring spoon.
- Bake for approximately 8-10 minutes at 200 °C for metal or paper molds, and for approximately 12-15 minutes at 190 °C for silicone molds.
