These Asian grilled pork ribs are a treat for meat lovers. They are marinated in a flavorful sauce and grilled to perfection.

Directions

  1. Remove the thin membrane from each rib. Season them with the barbecue rub and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. Place hickory chunks in the firebox of a smoker set to 65 °C (250 °F). ≈ 3 min
  3. Combine the remaining ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly. Set aside.
  4. Place the ribs in the smoker and cook for 5 to 6 hours, basting regularly with the soy sauce mixture.
  5. Generously brush the sides of the meat with the soy sauce mixture and place them under a preheated broiler until nicely browned. Watch closely, or they may burn!
  6. Cut into portions of 1 rib and serve. ≈ 8 min

  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 cup sake
  • 3 tbsp honey
