Apple pie is a classic Belgian dessert. It can be made with or without custard, depending on your preference.

Directions

  1. Place the dough in a greased and floured tart tin. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  2. Core six apples, remove the seeds, and cut them into thin slices. Spread the bottom of the tart shell and cover it with the peeled apple compote.
  3. Arrange the apple slices on the plate, overlapping them slightly. Sprinkle with sugar. ≈ 2 min
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 25 to 30 minutes.
