Directions
- Use a small drill bit to create a hole in the apple to allow for filling or other modifications. ≈ 3 min
- Peel the apples. ≈ 8 min
- Cut each apple into 4 slices, making sure that the hole in the center is clearly visible. ≈ 8 min
- Place the apple slices in a dish, then sprinkle them with caramel and cinnamon. ≈ 2 min
- Pour in the flour into a bowl and sift it. ≈ 2 min
- Add a pinch of salt. ≈ 3 min
- Make a well in the flour and add the eggs and milk. ≈ 3 min
- Use the blender to create a smooth, lump-free batter. ≈ 3 min
- Meanwhile, add the beer. ≈ 3 min
- Heat the oil paint or butter for frying.
- This happens when oil paint or butter starts to smoke. ≈ 3 min
- Place the apple slices through the dough, then carefully arrange them in the deep-fat fryer. ≈ 3 min
- It is best to use a fork (for meat) for this purpose. ≈ 3 min
- Do not overcrowd the deep fryer with French fries at the same time.
- The leaves should be cooked for 3 to 5 minutes, until they turn a dark brown color.
- Remove with a skimmer and drain into a container lined with absorbent paper. ≈ 2 min
