Directions
- Combine the flour, oats, coconut, and sugar in a large bowl. ≈ 4 min
- Melt the butter and golden syrup in a saucepan over low heat.
- Mix the baking soda with boiling water, then add it to the cold liquids.
- Pour the liquids over the dry ingredients and mix well until a smooth paste forms. ≈ 4 min
- Roll out small balls of dough, about the size of a walnut, and place them on a lightly greased griddle, leaving space between each ball. ≈ 3 min
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack before storing them in airtight containers.
