Soy, carrot and cheese patties with eggplant yogurt sauce
Serbian soy seed, grated carrot, egg, and kačkavalj galettes, pan-fried and served with a lemon-infused, soy yogurt, and basil-based fried eggplant sauce.
Pljeskavice are typically grilled meat patties; this vegetarian version uses soy. The eggplant, which is first drained and then fried, transforms into a creamy and tangy sauce.
