Directions
- The caviar has been thoroughly rinsed. ≈ 3 min
- If it is too salty, it can be soaked in water for a few minutes. ≈ 3 min
- It is then placed in a deep container. ≈ 3 min
- We then add the chopped onion and the bread, which has been soaked in milk and drained. ≈ 3 min
- Using a blender (or a food processor with a blade), everything is thoroughly mixed, and then the oil paint is added gradually. ≈ 3 min
- Once the caviar thickens, milk is gradually added, followed by oil paint, until the total amount is used up.
- If the caviar seems too liquid, don’t worry, as adding the lemon juice will create the ideal consistency. ≈ 3 min
- If you don’t like the taste of onion, you can replace it with water. ≈ 3 min
- However, the taste will be different in this case. ≈ 3 min
- If you prefer a coarser texture, you can mix it by hand (which is time-consuming and tiring), or add a tablespoon of breadcrumbs at the end of the mixing process. ≈ 4 min
- In this case, you can also omit the bread. ≈ 3 min
- Caviar prepared in this way can be stored in the refrigerator (at 1-5 °C) for up to 5 days.
- Consume it in moderation as an appetizer or as a side dish (especially on a slice of bread or a cracker with white wine or vodka), as this product is high in calories. ≈ 3 min
- Enjoy your meal! ≈ 3 min
