Sauerkraut is a traditional Belgian dish usually made with plenty of meat. However, this simplified version is perfect if you don’t want to work too hard but still want to enjoy the flavor of cabbage.

Directions
- Wash the cabbage and cut it into quarters. Remove the hard core and slice the leaves very thinly. ≈ 8 min
- Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the cabbage, season with salt and pepper, then cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes.
- Reduce the heat and cook until the cabbage is tender.
- Add the wine vinegar and white wine, then continue cooking for 10 minutes.
