Directions
- Grate the chocolate and melt it with 1 tablespoon of water. ≈ 8 min
- Whip the butter and sugar together until you have a light and fluffy mixture. ≈ 3 min
- Add the egg yolks one at a time. ≈ 3 min
- Incorporate the warm, melted chocolate. ≈ 4 min
- Add the whipped egg whites to the flour. ≈ 3 min
- Grease a round mold and line it with parchment paper. ≈ 3 min
- Bake the dough in a preheated oven at medium heat.
- Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool.
- Cut it in half horizontally and fill it with apricot jam. ≈ 8 min
- Spread a layer of jam over the top of the cake. ≈ 4 min
- Finish with a glaze of melted dark chocolate, made by gently heating it with a few drops of water. ≈ 3 min
