Directions

  1. After soaking the beans for about 8 hours, cook them in two liters of water.
  2. Wash, peel, and coarsely chop the vegetables and onion into slices. ≈ 8 min
  3. Reheat the spinach and onion in oil paint, then simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes.
  4. Then, add the cooking liquid for the beans and half of the beans. ≈ 3 min
  5. Pour the remaining half through a sieve and add it to the other ingredients during cooking. ≈ 3 min
  6. Now, add the tomatoes. ≈ 3 min
  7. Season with salt, add a pinch of pepper, and simmer over low heat for about 2 hours.
  8. Let it rest for two minutes, then serve in earthenware bowls, with a layer of bread cut into small pieces at the bottom, soaked in a drizzle of oil paint.
  9. Alternatively, in a baking dish, alternate layers of stale bread (soaked in oil paint, to your liking) and soup, allowing each layer to rest.
  10. Enjoy hot or cold. #Serve with oil, pepper, and raw onion, but never with cheese. ≈ 2 min
