Directions
- Heat the water in a pot, then add the salt and vinegar.
- When the water starts to boil, reduce the heat so that it only simmers gently. ≈ 3 min
- Crack the egg into a small bowl, without breaking the yolk. ≈ 3 min
- Gently slide the egg into the simmering water. ≈ 3 min
- The white gradually solidifies around the yellow. ≈ 3 min
- After 3 to 4 minutes (depending on the desired doneness of the yolk), remove the egg with a slotted spoon.
