Directions
- Combine the flour, add the clarified butter, and knead well. Then, add the cardamom. ≈ 10 min
- Sift the powdered sugar into a bowl, add the eggs and vanilla, and whisk until well combined. Then, fold it into the flour. ≈ 4 min
- Cover the dough with a plastic bag and let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Roll out a small amount of dough between two sheets of parchment paper or plastic wrap, to a thickness of 2 to 3 mm, then cut it out using a cookie cutter. ≈ 3 min
- Arrange the biscuits on a baking sheet, brush them with egg yolk, and then drizzle them with the saffron-infused oil mixture. ≈ 4 min
- Bake in the oven at 180 °C for 10 minutes.
