Directions
- Wash the peaches and remove the pits. Dissolve the sugar in the water, add the fruit, and cook for 6 to 8 minutes.
- To flavor the compote, add a zest of lemon or orange, or a pinch of cinnamon. Once cooled, add the grape juice, pour into containers, and store in the refrigerator.
- For delicate peaches, place the fruit in boiling water and remove it immediately, then keep the pot covered until it cools. This prevents the liquid from becoming cloudy and ensures the fruit remains whole.
