Directions
- In a non-stick bowl, combine the egg yolks and sugar. Once the mixture is smooth, add the flour and mix thoroughly. ≈ 4 min
- Bring the milk to a boil in a separate small pot. Remove from the heat, reduce the heat to low, and place the pot containing the first mixture over the heat. Slowly stir with a wooden spoon, gradually adding the milk until you have a thick, mayonnaise-like consistency and no lumps.
- Next, allow the cream to cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming, then refrigerate it for about two hours before using it as a dessert or for topping.
