Directions
- Whip the cream until it forms a thick consistency, then incorporate the vanilla sugar. ≈ 4 min
- Reserve a generous amount of whipped cream for later use as a decoration. ≈ 2 min
- Place the meringues in a small freezer bag (reserve a few whole meringues for decoration) and crush them using a rolling pin, rolling them out of the bag.
- Fold the meringue crumbs into the whipped cream. ≈ 4 min
- Place one of the pie crusts on a plate. ≈ 3 min
- Spread half of the meringue cream on the base and the remaining half on the next layer. ≈ 4 min
- Place the final layer on top. ≈ 3 min
- Decorate with whole meringues on top of the tart and whipped cream around (this will create a beautiful effect if you use a soda siphon – take a small freezer bag, make a small opening in one corner and fill the bag with cream).
- Finally, lightly dust with powdered sugar, and, if desired, with colored vermicelli. ≈ 2 min
