Directions
- The beef is first cooked by steaming (you can add bay leaves and spices).
- Next, we add milk (curdled milk), so that it can be cooked and fermented with the milk, and thus absorb the flavor of the milk. ≈ 3 min
- We place a very thin type of bread, called “shrak” (a very light bread), under the rice in a large dish called “sadr” (this bread is optional). ≈ 3 min
- The rice is arranged in the dish to form a small mound, and pieces of cooked meat are then placed on top. ≈ 3 min
- Finally, toasted walnuts (almonds and hazelnuts) are added.
