Directions
- Combine the flour, salt, and sugar in a large bowl. ≈ 4 min
- Add the egg, oil paint, and pre-activated yeast to warm water with a small amount of sugar. ≈ 3 min
- Dissolve the yeast in 1 cup of warm water and gradually add it to the mixture, according to your observations. ≈ 3 min
- Knead for about 10 minutes until a smooth dough forms. Let it rest for 1 hour in a plastic bag or covered with a dishcloth.
- Once the dough has risen, reshape it and form it into a rolled shape. Brush with an egg yolk mixed with a little water, and add sesame seeds and/or marigolds for decoration.
- Let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
