Crispy Lombok crackers made with rice flour and coconut milk, cut into crescent shapes and then fried until golden brown. A festive treat.
Jaje bure is a dry biscuit from Lombok, which is crispy and salty, made with rice flour and coconut milk. It is traditionally prepared towards the end of Ramadan.

Directions
- Cook the ground rice flour in steam for about 10 minutes, then remove it.
- Add salt to the coconut milk, then gradually pour it over the steamed flour and mix well to ensure even distribution. The dough should not be too wet or too dry.
- Once the dough is smooth and consistent, roll it out thinly. ≈ 4 min
- Use the edge of a glass to cut the dough into crescent shapes. ≈ 8 min
- Fry the crescent until they are golden brown and crispy, then drain them.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container. ≈ 2 min
