Directions
- Thoroughly wash the dried sorrel, then finely chop it. ≈ 8 min
- Bring the water to a boil in a pot, then add the sorrel, rinsed rice, and salt. Stir.
- Cook gently until the rice is cooked and the water has been absorbed.
- Cover and allow to cook in the steamer, as with the other plovs.
- Just before the end, drizzle with melted butter. ≈ 3 min
- Serve hot, with a touch of citric acid if you prefer a more tart flavor. ≈ 2 min
