steamed coconut custard
A very delicate Asian custard: made with eggs, thick coconut milk, and sugar, and infused with jasmine water, steamed to create a smooth texture.
This coconut custard is cooked using the steaming method, in a bamboo steamer placed on top of a wok. Infused with jasmine water, it is soft and smooth, provided that it is cooked gently.
