Directions
- Grease the bottom of a loaf pan and preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract using a spoon. ≈ 4 min
- In a separate bowl, combine the mashed bananas, eggs, and melted butter. ≈ 4 min
- Pour the banana mixture into the dry ingredients and mix: the batter should not be too thick or too runny. ≈ 4 min
- Add the walnuts and chocolate, then mix well. ≈ 4 min
- Pour the dough into the buttered mould and cook 55 to 60 minutes.
- Let cool before serving. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate glaze.
