Directions

  1. Cut the cleaned and emptied chicken into pieces. Season each piece with salt. Then, deep-fry the pieces in enough oil in a pot, turning them frequently to prevent burning.
  2. Add the chopped onion, stir, then mix well to infuse the chicken with flavor. Add the peeled and chopped tomatoes and basil leaves. Continue cooking for a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  3. Serve hot with fresh bread or polenta. ≈ 2 min
