Bread pudding is a traditional dessert from Belgian and Anglo-Saxon kitchens, easy to make and delicious.

Directions

  1. Heat the milk.
  2. Soak the stale bread in pieces in the boiling milk.
  3. Once the mixture has cooled sufficiently, knead it by hand to obtain a smooth, even dough.
  4. Add eggs, sugar, grapes, and, optionally, rum. ≈ 3 min
  5. If the mixture has become too liquid, you can add some flour. ≈ 3 min
  6. Next, pour into a mold and bake in a preheated oven (180 °C) for at least an hour. ≈ 3 min
  7. monitor the cooking process with a knife tip; ensure that the cake doesn’t brown too much. ≈ 3 min
  8. You can decorate it with powdered sugar or chocolate. ≈ 10 min
