Gemada is a traditional Brazilian drink, made with milk and eggs. It differs from eggnog in that it does not contain alcohol.

Directions

  1. Place the ice cubes in a shaker. Add the milk, caramel syrup, and egg, then shake vigorously. ≈ 3 min
  2. Pour filter the drink, pour it into a glass. ≈ 3 min
  3. Add a pinch of walnut and nutmeg, and serve immediately. ≈ 2 min

  • 1 egg
  • 2 ice cubes
  • Finely grated nutmeg and walnuts, used for decoration.
