Bircher muesli is a traditional Swiss breakfast. The oats are soaked overnight in a little water, then mixed with grated apple, lemon, and concentrated milk: it’s fresh, tangy, and filling.

Directions
- The evening before, pour the oatmeal into a bowl with just enough water to moisten it, and let it soak overnight.
- The next day, add the concentrated milk and lemon juice, then mix with the oats. ≈ 4 min
- Grate the apples, including the peel, and add them to the mixture immediately. ≈ 8 min
- Sprinkle with crushed almonds or hazelnuts and serve. ≈ 2 min
