Teilak, Basque tiles with almonds
Crispy Basque-style biscuits with chopped almonds, sugar, and melted butter, still warm from the oven, to help them retain their shape.
Teilak are thin Basque tiles made from almond flour. They are very fragile when cold and take their final shape as soon as they come out of the oven.
