Directions
- Place the egg and powdered sugar in the mixer and mix slowly for about 5 minutes.
- Add the finely grated lemon zest and the vanilla bean, ground into a powder. ≈ 3 min
- Knead for another minute. ≈ 3 min
- Add the ground almonds and knead until a smooth dough forms (just firm enough to work with). ≈ 10 min
- Form a small ball, about the size of a large walnut, with your hands, flatten it slightly, and then place it on a bed of powdered sugar. ≈ 10 min
- Arrange the balls on a griddle, with the sweet side facing up. ≈ 3 min
- Bake in the oven at 180 °C for approximately 15 minutes.
