Directions
- Preheat the oven to 160-170 °C.
- Reserve one egg yolk for glazing. The egg white will be added to the batter. ≈ 3 min
- Place the sugar and eggs in a bowl. ≈ 3 min
- Whip the eggs and sugar until they are light and fluffy. ≈ 4 min
- Add the yogurt, oil paint, vanilla extract, orange zest, baking soda, and yeast, then mix well. ≈ 4 min
- Add half of the flour to the whisk. ≈ 4 min
- Gradually add the remaining flour and knead. The dough should remain slightly sticky. ≈ 10 min
- Cut out pieces of dough and shape them into small, not-too-large balls. ≈ 10 min
- Place them on a greased baking sheet or a sheet of parchment paper. ≈ 3 min
- Mix the reserved egg yolk with 1 tablespoon of oil paint and brush it onto the biscuits. ≈ 4 min
- Bake in the oven at 180 °C until the top is lightly golden.
