Fried Javanese biscuits shaped like elephant ears, with a vanilla and cocoa speckled dough, and coconut milk, perfect to enjoy with coffee or tea.
The “koping gajah,” or elephant ear, is a popular sweet treat from Java. Its two-toned, vanilla and chocolate-flavored dough gives this fried biscuit a distinctive zebra-like pattern. It is often enjoyed with a cup of coffee.
