Directions
- Chop the meat, then mix it with the herbs and spices in a food processor for 10 to 30 seconds, until you have a smooth, even mixture. ≈ 8 min
- Remove the meat from the food processor and shape it into steaks, each weighing between 180 and 330 grams. ≈ 10 min
- Cook the steaks for about 5 minutes on each side in the beef fat, in a frying pan or on the grill, depending on the thickness and desired level of doneness.
- Check for doneness: if the steaks are thick, cut one in half to ensure the center is cooked through. ≈ 8 min
- Serve each steak in a small roll, with pickles, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Optionally, you can also add a slice of cheese. ≈ 2 min
