Papina
A simple and traditional pastry from the Brianza region, made with milk, bread, cocoa, and sugar.
The papina is a traditional pastry from the courtyards of the Brianza region, particularly the courtyard of the Maia and Dorma de Velasca family. It is easy to make with simple ingredients and was designed for children, whom parents could not afford to provide with expensive breakfasts in the mid-20th century.
