Directions

  1. Marinate the chicken with salt, sugar, soy sauce, and “Hương vị” spices for about 1 hour, to allow the flavors to fully penetrate.
  2. Hot oil for frying chicken (without fully cooking it), remove the chicken, and drain.
  3. Place the chickens in the pot, cover with water, add salt, soy sauce, and bring to a boil.
  4. Remove the foam, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
  5. Add the mushrooms, sweet potato, and apples, and continue cooking until the chicken is tender. ≈ 3 min
  6. Add the earthworms and kidney beans. ≈ 3 min
  7. Serve hot with bread and salt. ≈ 2 min

Before you start

Ingredients

  • Two chickens, cleaned and dried.
  • One package of “Ngũ vị hương”
  • 2 shiitake mushrooms, softened after rehydration
  • 10 g of cooked mung beans
  • 6 Chinese apples, soft
  • 100 g of beets
  • 1000 flower heads, soak until plump, remove the pistil, and tie
  • salt, sugar, soy sauce
