Fridge leftovers quiche with goat cheese and bacon
Clean-out-the-fridge quiche: goat cheese rounds, bacon, leftover vegetables and deli meats, 3 eggs and cream. Zero cost, zero waste.
“A quick, tasty supper for zero euros: fridge leftovers, cheese, vegetables, deli meats, a little imagination and voilà, a quiche!” That’s how Axelle sums up this leftovers quiche.
The base comes from a classic goat cheese and bacon quiche: a pastry crust, a log of goat cheese sliced into rounds, 200 g of bacon lardons, 3 eggs and 20 cl of cream. Anything left in the fridge (vegetables, odds and ends of deli meats) can go in too.
The goat cheese rounds brown on top, as you can see in the photo.
