Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and a pinch of salt with the sugar. ≈ 4 min
- Add the margarine and egg, then mix well. Next, add the honey and milk, and mix again. ≈ 4 min
- Incorporate the poppy seeds and the grated lemon zest, then finish working the dough by hand on a clean surface. ≈ 4 min
- Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 10 mm, then cut out shapes using a cookie cutter. Place the cookies on a griddle covered with parchment paper. ≈ 3 min
- Bake in a preheated oven with a fan at 160 °C for approximately 12 to 14 minutes.
