This is such a simple recipe that it’s almost impossible to find something easier. Strawberries are often eaten with milk in northern Germany, and make an ideal summer snack.

Directions

  1. Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. ≈ 2 min
  2. Cut the strawberries into quarters. ≈ 8 min
  3. Place the strawberries in a bowl. ≈ 3 min
  4. Add the sugar and mix well. ≈ 4 min
  5. Let it sit for 10 minutes to allow the sugar to dissolve.
  6. Serve the strawberries with milk. Take as much as you like. ≈ 2 min
