Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the oatmeal, sugar, cocoa powder, and egg. ≈ 4 min
  2. Melt the fat in a saucepan and pour it over the mixture.
  3. Work by the spoonful to achieve a granular consistency. ≈ 3 min
  4. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the dough to a thickness of about 1 cm. ≈ 3 min
  5. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F), place the baking sheet in the oven, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cake is a light golden brown.
  6. Cut the cake into squares using a knife while it’s still warm, then let it cool on the baking sheet.
