- Place the unpeeled and quartered crab apples in a large pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil until the fruit bursts.
- Then, you need to press them to release the juice and filter it. ≈ 3 min
- This juice, with 750g of granulated sugar added per liter, is brought to a boil for approximately 20 minutes, while stirring occasionally, until it thickens into a gel.
