Traditional honey cake
A honey-flavored cake infused with strong tea, lemon, cloves, and brandy, baked in two round cake tins – a classic recipe from Roch Hachana.
This traditional honey cake is typically served during Rosh Hashanah, as a dessert or to break the fast of Yom Kippur. The strong tea and spices give it its distinctive flavor.
