Directions
- Thoroughly wash the potato under cold water, without peeling it. Dry it, brush it with vegetable oil paint, and wrap it in aluminum foil. ≈ 8 min
- Oven: Preheat to 200 °C and bake for 45-60 minutes, depending on the size of the potatoes. On the barbecue: cook for 20-30 minutes over direct heat or on the grill.
- Check for doneness by piercing with a fork or skewer. ≈ 3 min
- Remove the aluminum foil, cut the potato lengthwise, and fill the indentation with butter, cheese, or sauce. ≈ 10 min
