Baked apple in parchment paper
Buttered and salted potatoes, wrapped in aluminum foil, baked in the oven for one hour. Cut in a cross shape before serving.
These baked root vegetables are coated in butter and salt, then cooked in parchment paper. They are then pierced with a cross-shaped pattern and pressed to open them up.

Directions
- Wash the apples thoroughly and scrub the skin. ≈ 2 min
- Dry them, then coat them with softened butter and salt. ≈ 3 min
- Wrap each potato in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. ≈ 3 min
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (392 °F) for 1 hour, or until tender.
- Before serving, remove the aluminum foil and make a cross-shaped incision on top. ≈ 2 min
- Squeeze the bottom to open the potato. ≈ 3 min
