Directions
- Place the mint leaves and lime slices in a glass, then add the sugar. ≈ 3 min
- Gently mash everything together with a wooden spoon to release the lemon juice and the mint’s fragrance. ≈ 4 min
- Add the crushed ice to the glass, then pour in cold or sparkling water. Add a pinch of salt, if desired, to vary the flavor. ≈ 3 min
- Stir well with a long spoon. Garnish with mint and a thin slice of lime, then serve. ≈ 4 min
