Directions
- In a saucepan, pour 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
- Add about a teaspoon of freshly grated ginger. ≈ 3 min
- Once the water begins to boil, simmer over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes, allowing the ginger to fully infuse into the water.
- Add 1.5 teaspoons of tea to the boiling water.
- Under these conditions, continue to cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- If you wish, you can add 2 teaspoons of sugar to this mixture at this point. ≈ 3 min
- If you prefer tea with milk, add about 1/2 cup of milk at this point and let it simmer for another 2 minutes.
- If you wish, you can simply prepare it like black tea. ≈ 3 min
- Once the water has boiled, turn off the gas and filter the tea.
- Then, pour it into a cup or mug. ≈ 3 min
- Serve immediately. ≈ 2 min
