Directions
- Wash each piece of fruit. ≈ 2 min
- Remove the skins (but not the white part) from one side of each fruit: yellow lemon, lime, and orange. ≈ 3 min
- Mix the shells with the sugar. ≈ 4 min
- Place the peels in the refrigerator with the sugar for 24 hours.
- Repeat the procedure for the other half of the fruit. ≈ 3 min
- Mix the pulp mixture with the sugar, juice, and caffeine. Stir well. ≈ 4 min
- Mix everything together. ≈ 4 min
- Prepare this energy drink by mixing one part syrup with five parts sparkling water. Use sparkling water from a soda fountain or a specific brand of sparkling water. Avoid using mineral water, as the minerals would alter the taste. Also, avoid using flavored sparkling water, as the existing flavors would also alter the taste of the drink. ≈ 3 min
