- Spread a slice of bread with ham and cheese, then cover it with the second slice. ≈ 10 min
- If you are using a sandwich press, cut the slices in half so they fit inside the appliance. ≈ 8 min
- If you are using a pan, heat or melt a tablespoon of oil paint or butter, or brush it onto the outside of the slices.
- Grill the sandwiches on medium heat (the lower the heat, the less likely they are to burn, but the longer the cooking time). They are ready when they are lightly golden, usually after about 5 minutes.
- If you wish, you can cut the croissant diagonally to make it easier to eat. ≈ 8 min
