Dark chocolate and walnut brownies
Fudgy dark chocolate brownies, made using the water bath method, baked for 45 minutes, and topped with walnuts or chocolate chips, cut into squares.
These very chocolatey brownies are easy to make: you simply melt the chocolate using a double boiler, incorporate it into the batter, and the oven does the rest.

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- Melt the chocolate with the margarine and oil in a double boiler.
- Whisk together the sugar and eggs in a mixing bowl, then gradually add the flour. ≈ 4 min
- Gently fold in the melted chocolate, pour into a square pan, and sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top. ≈ 3 min
- Bake for 45 minutes, let cool, then cut into squares.
