A cherry cake baked on the morning of September 11, along with a batch of little meatballs for soups to come.

It's a yogurt cake: eggs beaten with the sugars, yogurt, melted butter, flour and baking powder. The pitted cherries are rolled in a little flour before being folded in, so they don't sink to the bottom.

It bakes for 45 minutes at 180 °C and comes out of the pan once cooled.
